About Us

Today North America is home to thousands of Tamil speaking audience. Several organizations dedicated to promote Tamil arts and literature have received tremendous patronage here. These organizations operate with broader scope to promote all aspects of Tamil arts and literature making it hard to focus on full-length stage shows.

Dheepa Ramanujam has staged a few successful full-length plays with her group of artists since 2001. The tremendous response received by her production titled Thanimai has provided the impetus to form a group dedicated to Tamil theatrical arts. Krea was launched formally by Dheepa Ramanujam to fulfill this need.

Dheepa founded Krea with her husband Ramanujam and their friends Naveen Kumar Nathan and Venu Subramaniam.
